2021 Tech-30

Vancouver landed in the #3 spot out of 30 markets in our newly released 2021 Tech-30 report. The report measures the tech industry’s impact on North America’s job and office markets.

The tech industry has continuously made a positive impact on our job and office market, with Vancouver cementing as a key player in the international landscape.  

Here are some key takeaways:

• Between 2019-2020, Vancouver experienced +21% in high-tech job growth with 12,900 new jobs added, landing us in the #3 spot with Toronto ranking #1 and Seattle #2.
• We experienced +13.3% office rent growth ranking #2 when compared to all other markets.
• Vancouver was ranked one of the top 10 most resilient and poised for growth cities when compared to 30 other cities.
